How can I pay for my order?
|
|
|
Payment must be dated within 24 hours of your order confirmation, and must be received by us within three business days. For your convenience Superior God Group accepts the following methods of payment for Canadian and US orders under $25,000:
- Money order
- Any official bank check (bank draft, certified or cashier's check)
- Bank wire
- Personal Checks, company checks and online payment checks. Orders paid for with a personal check, company check or online payment check are held for three (3) weeks from the time Superior Gold Group receives payment to ensure clearance.
- Credit Card payment (s)
International orders must be paid for by bank wire. Please note that an additional $25 US must be added for all bank wires sent to Superior Gold Group from outside of Canada and the United States. This charge covers all intermediary administrative fees. However this amount does not cover fees that your bank may charge. We suggest that you indicate to your bank the total amount that you require to reach the destination bank. All orders over $25,000 and international orders must be paid by bank wire.
We do not accept C.O.D.’s, direct deposits, e-mail money transfers or third-party checks as methods of payment. Due to new Anti-Money Laundering legislation and the Patriot Act in the United States and recognized worldwide, Superior Gold Group can no longer send or receive third-party payments. Payments can only be sent to individuals listed in your Superior Gold Group account.

Example: If you place an order on Monday, the post-mark period takes effect the following business day, Tuesday. If you submit payment on Thursday of the same week, this would count as being three (3) days from the order confirmation, and $50.00 minimum or greater at a rate of six percent (6%) would be applicable in late payment fees ($50.00 for Day 3 totaling $50.00 or more if the total sale is more than eight hundred and fifty dollars). Please note that weekends and holidays are not counted when calculating any late payment fees.

Can I cancel my order?
|
|
|
Once you have placed an order with Superior Gold Group, you have entered into a binding agreement. Your Superior Gold Group order will automatically be canceled if we do not receive payment within three business days. All order cancellations are subject to a non-negotiable minimum $50 cancellation fee. Should there be a decline in the market price on the day your order is cancelled, the cancellation fee may exceed $50. Cancellation fees will be charged to your credit card. In the event the charge to your credit card is declined, your Superior Gold Group account will be suspended until the full cancellation fee has been received. If Superior Gold Group is unable to recuperate the cancellation fee, then your file will be sent to a collections agency for further action.

Do you accept online payments?
|
|

An ‘online payment’ is only accepted when made by a bank on behalf of its client. The ‘online payment’ will be treated in the same manner as a personal check, and will subsequently be held for a three (3) week period to ensure clearance.

What if I want to place an order that is over $100,000 USD?
|
|
|
Orders exceeding $100,000 USD require at least a 50% deposit of the total order prior to price confirmation. Bank wires are the only acceptable payment method for any balance due on these orders. Please call our customer service representatives at 1-888-969-6465 for bank wire instructions.

Are your prices locked in when I place my order?
|
|
|
Yes. When using our online ordering, the price at the time that you place your order is the final price, even if fluctuations in the market occur after the order is placed. To guarantee this, you must ensure that your payment is dated and postmarked within 24 hours from the date your order is confirmed, and is received by Superior Gold Group within 3 business days.
Superior Gold Group reserves the right to refuse an order when the confirmed price is incorrect, due to either computer-related problems or sudden volatile movements in the gold market.
Please note that the order you have placed is a binding contract, and therefore it is the customer’s responsibility to follow up on the order that has been placed.

No, all item prices you see are the prices you pay. Shipping and insurance charges are applicable to delivery of physical bullion.

What are the shipping and handling charges?
|
|

The cost to ship your order to destinations in the US and Canada is a flat rate of $37 plus insurance. Insurance charges are $4 per $1000 to insure gold, platinum and palladium and $24 per $1000 to insure silver.
For all orders shipping to destinations other than the United States or Canada, the minimum shipping cost is $135 US and may increase depending on the size, weight and delivery address of your order. Does it pay to make small orders with a $37.00 flat shipping and handling charge?
|
|
|
Since Superior Gold Group’s product prices are competitive and there are no administration or annual fees, you can often save money even on small orders where the shipping charges may seem relatively high.

How is my order shipped?
|
|
|
U.S. orders are shipped via USPS Registered Insured Mail. Canadian and international orders are shipped via Fedex. Each package is fully insured and requires a signature upon delivery to a residential address. Superior Gold Group cannot be held responsible should you have a signature waiver on file with the particular carrier.
Packages shipped with recognized carriers take on average three to ten business days for delivery. The parcel's registration number or tracking number can be made available upon request.

Can I have my order shipped to a non-residential address?
|
|
|
Superior Gold Group cannot be held responsible for any package delivered to a non-residential address which is signed for by a third party. As a result, we strongly recommend that you do not request to have your package delivered to a business address.

How long will it take to get my package?
|
|
|
Your Superior Gold Group order is packaged and shipped within 48 hours of receipt of your full payment. Delivery can be expected on average within seven to thirty one business days from the shipment date.

Can you ship my order to a post office box?
|
|
|
Yes. Orders shipped USPS Registered Insured Mail or by Canada Post can be sent to a PO Box. If a different shipping method is used you must specify a street address for shipment. A signature is required upon delivery of your package.

Who's responsible if my order is lost or stolen while in transit?
|
|
|
Superior Gold Group fully insures all of its shipments and its insurer is responsible if anything should happen to your package while it is in transit to you. However, Superior Gold Group will not accept responsibility if you have instructed the particular carrier to leave parcels for you without the need for a signature.
Furthermore, Superior Gold Group cannot be held responsible for any package delivered to a non-residential address which is signed for by a third party.

Are gold, silver and platinum taxable?
|
|
|
Superior Gold Group does not charge any sales tax when your order is shipped to an address in the United States. Your order must be more than $1001.00 in order to avoid sales tax.
For Canadian orders, there is no applicable sales tax on bars and/or coins that are 24 Karat. Tax is applicable for 22 Karat coins & palladium bars and coins.
For international orders, Superior Gold Group requires a written acknowledgement (via fax, email or post) stating that you are aware that any VAT taxes or any applicable duties for the country of destination are your responsibility.

Can I store my metals with Superior Gold Group?
|
|
|
While we do not store precious metals onsite, Superior Gold Group will facilitate setting up a personal account in your name with DDSC Delaware for the storage of your bars or coins for a charge. Once the account is set up, storage fees will be billed to you directly by the depository.
When purchasing metals from Superior Gold Group to be stored at DDSC Delaware, a transaction fee of $15.00 will be applied for each transfer of product.

Is my information safe?

Superior Gold Group takes security very seriously. Our security measures protect the loss, misuse and alteration of all information under our control. Our system is based on the SSL (Secure Socket Layer) encryption standard. Provided you are using an SSL- compliant browser such as Netscape's Navigator or Microsoft's Internet Explorer, you'll be able to conduct fully-protected transactions that encrypt all of your personal information, including credit card number, name and address, so it cannot be read as the information travels from you to Superior Gold Group. Furthermore all of the customer data we collect is protected against unauthorized access. After each transaction, Superior Gold Group takes extra measures to insure that the transaction is indeed made by the actual party.
